FAQ

What people ask before starting.

Do we host Tenure, or do you?

You do. Tenure is self-hosted by design. Your memory, policy, audit trail, and agent activity stay inside your environment, not ours.

Do you charge for agents, clients, or projects?

No. Tokens, clients, agents, and projects are unlimited. Individual and team pricing is based on the number of users, not the number of automated systems they run.

Who is Pro for?

Pro is for a single developer, founder, researcher, or consultant who relies on Tenure in production and needs stronger policy, audit, policy enforcement, and support without team identity features.

When should I move from Pro to Team?

Move to Team when more than one person needs a separate identity, shared team context, team scopes, and centralized administration. Pro remains limited to a single user operator.

Why are Pro and Team paid if Tenure is open source?

The open-source version gives you the core deterministic state engine. Paid plans add production operating tools, advanced governance, longer-lived administration, and support while keeping the core useful on its own.

When do we need Enterprise?

Choose Enterprise when multiple teams need segmented shared memory, centralized organizational policy, SAML or SCIM, configurable audit retention, deployment controls, and a faster support relationship.

Get started

Govern every agent you use, even when the entire team is you.

Start with the open-source core. Move to Pro when you depend on Tenure in production, Team when context becomes shared, and Enterprise when governance must span the organization.
